*cackle* I promised to do this back in July! I did warn everyone that my middle name is Procrastination?

So, under the cut is my picspam of madame Cally, my feline companion and nemesis of 8 years.

She's only about 10 weeks old here, and was a ball of fluff with colour splotches bigger than her! I apologise for the quality of the photo. I didn't take it myself and there's a limit to how much I could clean it up.

For such a stern, evil-eyed looking cat she is actually a sweetie!

Just showing off her back markings and bushy tail. My home help lady keeps threatening to shave her. *g*

To give you an idea of how big she is! That's my foot. Mind you, I'm a size 1. *veg*

Cally playing with the Christmas wrapping last year.

I love this shot. She's on her favourite perch in warm weather - the top of the car. You can almost hear the 'bloody hell, she's got the camera again!'... *g*

I get almost the exact same look from mine as Callie has in that one where she is sitting on the wrapping paper. Especially when he has taken up abode on some piece of paper.

She is gorgeous, a veritable riot of colour and action in her fur. The reds, the mahoganies and the deep and darker bits of colour, with the gorgeous big feet of a large, long haired cat. Stunning example of the feline. Oh and I think the added fuzziness of the kitten photo just says it all... small, splotched ball of cat fluff. :P

Mind you, she is not very fluffy compared to my parent's cat - who does get shaved once a year in summer to reduce the gnarling (she will not tolerate brushing and needs to be knocked out) and matting. Ship in full sail that one. :P

I'm lucky with her fur. Her mum is actually a tiny short-haired tabby who hadn't been watched close enough before being desexed. Her mum and aunt - litter mates - had been taken down to the vets to be desexed at 6 months of age, only to be told they were too late.

No-one ever saw daddy. All we know of him was that he was big, fast and furry! Cally is more than twice the size of her mum, but is classed as a medium coat rather than a long coat.

And she loves being brushed. I only have to wave the brush at her and she comes running. Her sister (the only other surviving kitten from that litter) is exactly the same. Sooty belongs to [livejournal.com profile] ts5000's mum and is a tiger stiped grey medium-coat tabby and she absolutely adores being brushed.

No idea who the parent's were of the parental's cat... clearly one was a short hair and othe other a persian. She has a very shorthair sort of body and face, and the most incredible, black, long persian fur. Very odd. Cally is perhaps the closest I've seen to her in looks.. if not colour. :P

Hehe, Nermal is just contrary and touchy about touch in general... not very well socialised as we got her too young due to the death of her mother. Mine loves being brushed though with a fervour... so I know the feeling :P
