Primeval pic: Prey. For primeval_denial's Large Graphics Challenge

Another manip for the [livejournal.com profile] primeval_denial Large Graphics Challenge, this time a 1024x768 Cutter wallpaper. And the next time I decide to play with so many leaves, people? Remind me about this one. *headdesk*

Again, thank you to [livejournal.com profile] fififolle for her help and advice. Background from a pic off the internet. Cutter image courtesy of Shootastic.

*wibbles* That's splendindly done. But I understand what you mean about the leaves - they must have been an absolute bugger to do! :-)

Those leaves were an absolute nightmare, but I loved the original pic and it suited wet!Nick so perfectly.

The lengths we go to for our art. *veg*

Nice! Very Nice!

*bows down in front of your superior patience*

I'd have given up or found another picture rather than trying to mess around with that one. It's really well done.

The original forest pic is beautiful, and it reminds me of the scene in the second Jurassic Park movie, where they all run into the cave to escape the t-rex.

So it seemed perfect for wet!Nick. *g*

Ooh, that's fabulous! And erk, yes, I can see that the leaves would have been little swines to deal with *g*.

The leaves were utter, utter bastards, but I like how it turned out. *g*

Well, I have to say well done you for persevering - it looks fantastic!

Although for some reason I'm also slightly scared by it... *g*

*grins* I took one look at the background and remembered the scene from Jurassic Park 2, where they all run into the cave to get away from the t-rex. The lighting behind Nick reminds me of that.

I'd have manipped a t-rex into it if I could have got it to fit!

It is a very scary picture! And your hard work is plain to see :)
Tell us Nick will be okay!! :)

*weighs Nick's odds against a lurking t-rex*

Of course Nick will be okay! *veg*

ooh, that's a brilliant picture, well done you, especially for all that effort with the leaves. The end result was worth it.

*grins* I've been tidying up the leaves for the last week, until I couldn't stand to look at it any more.

Ooo, wet and intense Nick with added foliage! Lovely composite and that's great how he looks like he's staring at us through the leaves.

Thank you! A lot of the fun of this sort of project is the merging of the two images. I tried a few different positions and sizes for Nick before I settled on this one. And Fi was a huge help, having a second set of eyes.
