Thank you! I love the detail in the background of the large image and am really pleased with how all the parts complemented each other. And Becker really is beautiful when beaten up. The Hound was amazed I hadn'd done a Ryan pic, but who could resist beaten up Becker?

*giggles* I love how your icon is a 'before' scenario! I went googling for 'destroyed London' artwork and was so pleased to find a blue version of that wallpaper. It suited Becker and the aerial anomaly perfectly.

I just finished Fracture and am still grinning. It's perfect! Off to read Clea's fic now. I am so pleased with what people got out of the pic. I had a lot of fun doing it and I'm really pleased with how it came out.

I love the colourfeel and the atmosphere it creates. I can see how it inspired celeste's amazing fic, and I can't wait to read clea's now!

*grins* I had to laugh when Celeste told me what her fic was, because I'd actually googled dragon images in the hope of perching one behind Becker or having a few circling in the background but I didn't want to limit the writers and I couldn't find the dragons I wanted... *sneaky look*

Fred was shocked! I tell you! that I'd done a Becker pic but he was just perfect for an apocalyptic London scenario and I was so hugely pleased when I found a blue version of that background. The first one I came across was in reds and oranges, which wasn't going to work.

Off to read Clea's fic now.

LOL, yes, I was a bit stunned that you hadn't done Ryan for this, but I totally agree with you that a beaten up Becker is a thing of beauty and a joy forever.

The image is absolutely stunning. The colours are perfect and your cutting out around the Becker image is absolutely immaculate.

And don't take this the wrong way, but I was heartily relieved I didn't get given this one or I would have had a Big Bang on my hands and no time to finish it!! I do have a ruined bunny in mind that's been there for a while and this is a dead cert for it. *g*

Both stories are wonderful in different ways, and I adore what Clea did with the politics of apocalypse and how pivotal Matt was, even though Becker had centre stage.

But! Dragons!! I had to laugh with Celeste when she told me what she'd done, because I had actually googled dragon images when I was putting the pic together but decided against it because I didn't want to limit the authors and couldn't find dragons that suited... *shifty look*

I googled ruined London images out of interest and found the brown version you mentioned, and there was also one a bit similar to this that did have dragons, so it was a fabulous brain share moment!

I was sooo pleased to get this piece of art! It's beautiful in such a haunting way and creates the most amazing atmosphere that I desperately wanted to replicate. I started the fic the same day I got this! And my brain really did immediately go, DRAGONS! As you do, haha.

Plus, you know, dirty bloody bruised Becker is my favorite. :D Thank you so much for doing the headers and the icons too!

I am really pleased with how the graphic came out, though. I knew I had it when I found the blue version of destroyed London. The first one I found was oranges and reds, which while stunning was never going to work.

The destruction of such iconic London landmarks coupled with the burned out building and Becker standing firm in the midst of it all, says a lot about Becker. This is so real, so stark, so horrifying, yet beautiful. Well done.

Thank you. I was very careful not to put too much in it, so that authors could run with their own ideas while hopefully being inspired by the image. So I'm pleased that we ended up with two completely different apocalyptic fics from the one prompt. And I love apocalypses... *veg*

I absolutely love this piece. The coloring is gorgeous. I really like the fact that despite the apocalyptic devastation, there's this wonderful sunlight from the right corner highlighting sections of the gloom. And Becker is the last man standing. Wow!
